Dumplings sooooo good. Chocolates beautiful & delicious. The owners are amazing people. So kind, attentive. Like you are the only customer in the place!! Oh~Did I mention the fantastic, Southern style dumplings? Lol!! I know. I just recommend that you try them for yourself.

I will definitely be back! The man the owns this place is so sweet, as are the handmade old-fashioned chocolate crafted here. The Kentucky bourbon balls and turtles are the finest I've had, paired with true southern service, 5 starts.

Super friendly couple own this shop. All of there sweets are fantastic but their bourbon balls, they are heavenly. Not to mention their lunches. Fried chicken and chicken & dumplings just to name a couple. Forgot to pick up a loaf of bread? They have that too. Great place!

I'm so happy we stopped in here! I got the grilled cheese which was fantastic, & my son got a fried chicken dinner. He said it was great and that it tasted as delicious as it smelled. And let me tell you, it smelled soooo good! Definitely going to get that the next time we go. And some of the bourbon balls! The owners were so nice too! Really looking forward to going back!

Superfriendly owners that support the community in SO many ways. Samples of chocolate are often shared, the homeless are always welcomed and fed, and the homecooked food is delicious and warms your soul.

Wonderful friendly and welcoming couple who own this store. The bourbon balls are beyond words. I buy them every time I visit home. The chocolate covered bacon is just addictive! The chicken and dumplings are wonderful too (check availability)! Take extra home; freeze them for later!

I've been in the corner store before and I went recently and it's FANTASTIC!!!!! The people there where so nice if you haven't gone then I recommend. The food was great and the prices are fair. :)

My wife and I recently visited The Corner Store, and it was a delightful experience! The highlight for us was the fantastic selection of candies and pickled eggs—truly a unique and nostalgic treat. The store boasts a wonderful assortment of products, from classic snacks to specialty items, making it a treasure trove for anyone looking for something different. The gentleman running the shop was an absolute gem, clearly passionate about his business and genuinely caring for his customers. His warm hospitality made the visit even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find such a charming, well-stocked corner store these days, and I wish more people would open shops like this. Highly recommend stopping by for a dose of nostalgia and great finds!

First time visiting The Corner Store and the first thing I noticed when walking in was the smell. It smelled wonderful and reminded me of my Grandmother Cora's kitchen. There is a large varieties of sweets to choose from and I chose a couple, they were great. The store has a little bit of everything including a small menu and home cooked meals. The best part of this little store is the couple that own it. They have own this store for 18 years and I can see exactly why. They are the sweeties and friendliest people you will every have the pleasure meeting. So if you get a chance to stop by The Corner Store then do so, for the sweets and conversation ☺.

If you have not gone here or are not a regular customer here you've made a mistake! I am from Lexington, Kentucky. The bluegrass and these are the best bourbon balls I have ever had in my life!!!!!! Ruth candies ain't got nothing on this place. Holy crap not to mention their comfort food alone!!!! Gave me a free sample of a bourbon ball. Ended up buying $30 worth of stuff. Super cute super quaint awesome little grocery side store as well inside. Super reasonable prices for being an actual corner store!!!! All candy is made fresh and when I say fresh I mean you have to eat it within a couple days fresh. OMG!!!!! I would start going here and making sure they know who you are before this place blows up because it is that good. I don't know how it already hasn't
